I found this quite handy at one point in my old system, until I found out the system stopped responding because of it. There was some sort of clash. So I unistalled it, and used the Clean Up after. Ever since, my main computer has been reformatted and I don’t use it as much. I brought a laptop, and has the Norton Anti-Virus and Anti-Spyware on it. It has worked fine with me. Interesting, as on my dads laptop it clashes.

Hmm, I hadn’t heard of Spybot causing computer crashes, but it’s good to know. I guess I always assumed it worked well for everyone as it does for me. I’m not big on Norton mainly because of the yearly subscription fee. I guess I should do some research and find out what current users are saying about it.

There is plenty of good software that is free or only requires a one-time payment. I’m going to do a review on one such sofware program called AVG free anti-spyware.

I have used AVG free Anti-Spyware before on my old system, and found it to be effective at first. Though I noticed, that it did not capture all the spyware, as when I went into the system I found some lurking, and had to manually delete them myself. It is a wise choice nonetheless, for a good Anti-Spyware software.

On my laptop, I have not made the Norton payment yet, as I have quite a lot of days left for free. My father brought the Norton Anti-Virus for it too, so I can use that, when the free days expire on the computer. The Norton seems to work perfectly with my system. (Toshiba) Somehow it clashes big time with HP.

On my main desktop computer I use Kasperky as An Anti-Virus, and also have the Anti-Spyware for it too.
